He was a Co-founder of Soles, Heyn & Company.

He gave over 30 years to the profession of public accounting and did it very passionately.  He always went above and beyond for his clients and colleagues.  He was  truly a person who loved his job.

He was registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.  Pat is an authority on SEC rules and regulations as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles promulgated by the Financial Accounting Standards Board. This expertise stems from his completion of hundreds of audits for publicly and privately held companies and not-for-profit organizations, as well as the invaluable knowledge of SEC rules and regulations he gained as the corporate controller of a large public company. He had served on the FICPA Accounting Principles & Auditing Standards committee.

Pat had a Masters in Professional Accountancy from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business and a BBA in Accounting from Columbus State University. He served in the Navy from 1974 through 1980. He was an avid boater and fisherman.
